Update 31/08/2022 | How is the new Medcase platform different from before?

How does Medcase currently work on the new platform?

For the time being, Medcase works in the same way you know it to work.

You will receive emails about projects that are relevant only to you from one of our recruiters, usually Michaela or Kayla. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we also have a bit on open projects in there as well.

Once you a recruiter hires you onto a project, you will be sent project terms to agree to via email and be notified if your CV/Resume needs approval from the business client. If you do not need CV/Resume approval or, conversely, receive client approval, you will receive onboarding information via email and be put in touch with your Project Manager.

If a background check is required, you will be notified via an email from Certn shortly after receiving the onboarding email.
Your Project Manager will check that you have access to all additional platforms or resources you may need.
Upon which, you will start your project!

Who decides if I get signed onto a project?

Medcase Recruiting. The only exception is if a business client requires CV/Resume approval, whereby Recruiting will submit relevant candidates to the business client for approval.

Who has access to my professional profile information?

Professional profile information (specialties, location, language, certifications, etc.) at Medcase are not public. Meaning, this information can only be accessed by you and internal Medcase Employees, namely from Recruiting, Project Management, Community Support and Outreach, and Tech Support.

Medcase still uses Certn for background checks, they do not have access to your profile at Medcase.

At current, business clients cannot see your professional profile at Medcase.
If a project requires a business client's approval to hire a candidate, your CV/Resume will be sent to said business client.
Any future updates to allow business client access to view your professional profile to speed up hiring to projects will be communicated prior to launch.

Who has access to my payment information?

Medcase has partnered with Tipalti to process payments to healthcare professionals working on projects with us. Payment information is secure and can only be accessed by Medcase Employees from Finance and Support in order to process your payments and/or assist you with filling out these details.

Will I receive a login of the other system?

What future updates can be expected?

There are priority features users have requested that we are working to build to make your payments friendlier and more accessible. These include

  • Ability to update your email address yourself
  • Ability to see payment history
  • Ability to update your profile with more specific and relevant information that will work to replace needing to upload your CV
  • Searchable support pop-up inside the platform
  • Ability to see and apply to open projects

If you have other features you would like to see, please contact Rebecca at support@medcase.health so we can put them into the pipeline or let you know if they are already there.
